In the late Eighties, at the age of Fifteen, Sunil Pawar skipped school one afternoon and walked into the Camden offices of music legends, Soul II Soul with a bag full of paintings, he sold every one of them. Present day and Sunil is an exhibiting artist as well as an award winning illustrator/ art
director working across a broad range of creative fields, from collaborating with Japanese fashion brands and Hollywood film houses to London pirate radio stations,
Alongside his canvas works, inspired by Walter Gropius’ multi disciplinary German Bauhaus movement from the 1920s, he lends his unique style across a broad range of outlets including print illustration, fashion and interior installations, providing a varied and progressive style of studio practice.
Painting and djing since the mid Nineties, he was born and bred in London town and is partial to a nice plate of pie and mash.
